The Australian Government announced in the 2017-18 Budget a new Infrastructure and Project Financing Agency (IPFA) will be established on 1 July 2017. IPFA will be a small executive agency, within the Prime Minister’s portfolio to assist the Government to identify, assess and broker financing opportunities for infrastructure projects.
