Strengthening the Indigenous business sector is crucial to increasing Indigenous wealth, independence and employment. To help Indigenous businesses grow, the Government has announced a new Indigenous Procurement Policy that will commence on 1 July 2015. From 1 July 2015, Commonwealth agencies will need to meet a purchasing target from Indigenous businesses.

What is the new Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP)?
