Incoming Government Brief 2010
The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet has received a number of requests under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) for access to the Incoming Government Brief (IGB) prepared by the department for a returned Labor Government (referred to as the Red Book).
Due to the level of interest in this document, the department has decided to publish so much of its Red Book as has been released under FOI. Deletions have been made to the documents in accordance with exemptions available under the FOI Act.
The version of Volume A published below includes additional material, released under an FOI internal review decision, and this material is also now included in the Full Document. These versions replace those published on this website on 24 December 2010.
