The meetings will provide contractors, citizens and others interested in construction licensing regulations, an opportunity to offer input and opinions on matters facing construction contractors, future regulatory reforms, and how the CCB can better serve Oregonians.

AGENDA
Purpose:
1. Provide prospective contractors information regarding contractor licensing requirements in Oregon.
2. Participants will leave the workshop with the knowledge necessary to accurately complete the CCB application and licensing process, and successfully obtain a CCB license in a reasonable amount of time and to provide information on how to have a successful and prosperous construction business.
Workshop:
The 90-minute workshop is designed to un-complicate contractor licensing requirements and assist Oregonians thinking about obtaining a CCB license to take the next step to obtaining a CCB license. CCB staff will discuss the process involved in becoming licensed including:
Choosing a business entity and CCB license endorsement; License, bonding and insurance requirements, and Pre-licensure education and testing requirements.

PubTalk can be a place to initially receive exposure as one is searching for funding. PubTalk is non-profit and charges a nominal fee to cover the cost of the event. It is organized and managed by a volunteer board of directors comprised from the membership.
