QuickBooks is an easy-to-use accounting system for small businesses and has become the software of choice for many business owners. This course will give you a look at the scope of capabilities of QuickBooks Pro 2013 and how to use the basic functions to get started. Topics will include the chart of accounts, financial management glossary, creating a company file, recording sales and paying bills. You will receive a comprehensive Student Guide. Students must have a basic knowledge of working with MS Windows or receive prior approval from the instructor. It is also highly recommended that students take “Shoebox Bookkeeping” as a refresher to this course. This will be a hands-on computer course with active discussion. This 6-hour class will be held in 3-hour blocks over two sessions.
